Who We Are

Terre Dance Collective

Terre Dance Collective is a group of movement artists working to create emotionally engaging and physically compelling contemporary dance. Terre was established in July 2017. Since its inception, we have been able to develop and present choreographic works in Washington D.C, New York City, and Cleveland, Ohio.

We strive to make dance accessible by presenting in spaces that are not the traditional proscenium theater, offering free and low-cost performances and classes whenever possible, and connecting other artists to the communities that they inhabit and create work in.  We also collaborate with other organizations that present the arts to the public for free/ low cost. Some of those include The Petworth Arts Collaborative, The Somatic Center, and The One Journey Festival.
